In my time at the home I have met some wonderful people, this page is dedicated to those who have sadly passed on. These poems relate to the last moments I spent with them, maybe in time I can place poems for them all, for now their names will be placed here.
Theresa
Theresa was an inspiration,
These words are dedicated to you.
Caring became a better place,
Because your love and
Laughter shone through.
I'm grateful for those moments we shared together,
They will last in a memory forever.
I did not know everything about you
But what I did know was true,
I was blessed to have found
a friend in you.
A lady with a heart of gold,
Precious to everyone young and old.
An angel came, carried you home,
Your journey long, the longest road.
You are at peace now,
Albert and Ted at your side.
Walking the shores of heaven,
Enjoying it's warmth and sunshine.

Julia
Somewhere past the rainbow
In Heavens skies of blue.
The angel stood before me
I walked into her arms and fell asleep.
Her words clear and true.
If all tears could create stairs
All memories carve lanes.
They would be able to walk to heaven
And lead you to Earth again.
But Julia this cannot be
It's time for you to rest in peace with me.
Leaving loves past is hard I know
But your journey to here has been a long road.
Those who grieve will see
You are now with a new family.
They will meet with you in time
When you can all share heavens sunshine

Paula
Look for the rainbow in the sky
For we never really say goodbye
In your heart shines my light
That now keeps you safe through lonely nights.
I only had to wish and you'd be there
Softly showing me how much you cared
When at times I was lonely and scared
Memories and quiet moments we would share.
I'll always remember being with you
A smile always shone through my tears
We spent so many happy times
During my life long years.
Now I have heavens garden to keep
In my care you know it will grow
I will place many flowers
Their colours will shine on Earth as the rainbow.

Doris
Early in the morning
When the day was dawning
Sharing memories and a story
Your dreams we never knew.
I was with you.
Only time keeps us apart
Only time can mend broken hearts.
Today we are with you.
Far into the morning
When we were all singing,
Sharing and holding hands
Life was fading like grains of sand.
I was with you.
Look to a life, we all have dreams,
When we leave, we are given wings.
If all this is meant to be,
Life was home and heaven our hearts are free.
Slowly when the night was nearing,
Dreams they came for the keeping.
A last night lasts forever,
The stars were shining, the moon beaming.
I was there with you.

Lou Lou
God picked me to be his angel
To sit by his side.
I asked, what about my family,
To this he replied.
They will miss you Lou,
But time will heal the pain.
Remember there is always sunshine,
After so much rain.
When they think of you Lou,
It will be with pride.
Your happy laughter, smile,
The warm glow of love in your eyes.
I said I was grateful for those hours,
We all spent together.
I know now its time for me to rest,
In my new home called Heaven.
So now I will sleep peacefully,
In Gods gentle care.
Where my smiling face is waiting,
To greet you all there.

Dolly
As I say goodbye to you all today,
Just a few words Id like to say.
The Sun and the rain I shall miss,
As I will your gentle kiss.
The birds singing in the trees,
And the warm Summer breeze.
But memories of me will remain,
In time happiness will replace the pain.
I didnt know much, but I knew what was true,
I was blessed having a family like you.
All the wrong in the World,
You made it seem right.
You were my candles,
On dark lonely nights.
In the morning your world will
seem a different place,
Now I have flown away.
But I will be there waiting,
The day God calls you home to stay.

Past Friends
Words cannot replace the space
you have left behind,
Until we meet again
Your name sits here with pride.
